Board Founder

Mother of a young adult with very high needs and grandmother of Julia who has Cerebral Palsy.

Partnered with Heather to create a centre providing wrap around services for children and families.

Provides advocacy support for families attending Little Stars.

Raewyn Burrough
Physiotherapist

Senior neuro-physiotherapist with over 13 years’ experience. Her work is focused on school age children and young adults, supporting them and their whanau to maximise movement, independence, and participation in recreation and other life enhancing activities.

Waanii Jasni
Occupational Therapist

Qualified in 2011, completed a PhD at the University of Otago.

Passionate about supporting Neurodivergent children and their whanau.

Taash Moratti
Physiotherapist

Qualified in 2010, working in paediatrics since 2017.

Kellie O’Carroll
Speech Language Therapist

Qualified speech and language therapist with over 15 years experience.

Past experience as a learning support service manager. Supporting children with diverse needs.

Mila Filep
Activity Coordinator

Mum of two children who are nerodivergent.

Nine years experience in the UK as a therapeutic support worker in a multidisciplinary team.

In New Zealand, she has worked as an education support worker in different early childhood education settings.

Phoebe Shannon
Activity Coordinator

Has worked for Little Stars since 2024 and also does rehab coach work for ACC. 

Previously worked for eight years as an early childhood teacher and one year at a residential school for the blind and visually impaired.

Has experience as a support worker for adults with disabilities.

Karen Bishop
Registered Music Therapist
and Music Teacher

Has previous experience working in the UK with pre-schoolers and primary-aged children who have cerebral palsy.

Has also taught in secondary schools in the UK.

Administration and Development Coordinator

Has qualifications in nutrition and psychology.

Has worked in health, education and community support services.
