Our Journey
Little Stars opened its doors to children and families in July 2023 after 2 months of hard work.
Initially
6 children and their families attending the center.
Our Lead Therapist Heather Last (OT), was the sole therapist
with volunteers supporting day-to-day operations.
Now
30+ children and their families attend regularly with more on a waiting list.
Heather Last continues as our Lead Occupational Therapist.
Speech and language clinic fortnightly with Rachel Wilson (SLT) and Heather (OT).
A part time Administrator and our fantastic volunteers continue to support us.
Premises
July 2023 we opened at 1043 Tremaine Avenue.
A local family have generously gifted their premises for the next 7 years.
A huge opportunity which will allow us to grow and expand to help more children.
